Accountant / Billing Manager

Role Description:

Seeking an experienced Accountant / Billing Manager to lead financial operations within our SaaS company. If you're a SaaS-savvy numbers pro with expertise in accrual-based accounting, financing accountancy, complex cash flows, Stripe subscriptions, and tax compliance, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SaaS-specific financial operations, focusing on accrual-based accounting.
• Navigate financing accountancy, including shares and investment rounds.
• Master complex cash flows, advance subscriptions, refunds, loans, and more.
• Manage Stripe subscriptions, payouts, salaries, and multi-level commissions.
• Ensure meticulous records with QuickBooks and meet tax compliance standards.

Skills you bring:

• Proven SaaS accounting experience, including accrual based accounting for US corporations.
• Expertise in financing accountancy, complex cash flows, and Stripe subscriptions.
• Proficient in managing payouts, salaries, and multi-level commission structures.
• Professional command over QuickBooks for seamless financial management.
• Experience in preparing federal income tax reports on an accrual basis.
• Familiarity with filing Delaware franchise tax returns
• Experience working in SaaS
• Experience with accrual-based accounting for US corporations
• experience with financing accountancy (shares/investment rounds)
• Extensive experience managing complex cash flows and accrual payments including advance subscription purchases / refunds / loans / multi level commission payments and bonuses
• Extensive experience managing Stripe subscriptions
• Experience with payouts and salaries
• Professional in QuickBooks
• Experience preparing federal income tax reports on accrual basis
• Experience filing Delaware franchise tax returns
