GigRadar is seeking a long-term collaboration with a browser automation expert / Node.js Developer to help us maintain our data collection pipelines.

Outcomes Expected:

  • 99+% Uptime for Our Crawlers: Ensuring high uptime aligns with the senior automation engineer's responsibility to create reliable and efficient automation solutions.
  • Real-Time Monitoring and Notification Systems: Setting up monitoring systems is important for tracking the health and performance of browser automation scripts.
  • 70% Bandwidth Optimization: Optimizing bandwidth reflects the engineer's role in enhancing automation efficiency and reducing resource consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture of advanced browser automation solutions, leveraging expertise in tools like Playwright, Puppeteer, and Apify.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams to integrate automation into web processes and elevate user interactions.
  • Optimize automation workflows, pushing the limits of efficiency and user experience enhancement.
  • Pioneer research and experimentation with emerging automation technologies, ensuring we stay steps ahead in the industry.
  • Tackle dynamic challenges head-on, embracing our fast-paced environment and fostering innovation.

Skills You Bring:

  • Good Knowledge of Node.js and Typescript: Essential for creating efficient automation scripts.
  • Experience with Apify: Relevant for creating and managing automation workflows.
  • 3+ Years Experience with Data Scraping and ETL: Indicates expertise in key responsibilities of web automation.
  • Experience with Playwright/Puppeteer: Core skills for interacting with web content.
  • Crawlers Avoiding Bot Checks and Captcha Solvers: Demonstrates a deep understanding of browser automation challenges.
  • Able to Work Under Little Supervision: Senior-level professionals are expected to work autonomously.
  • Expert JS/HTML: Necessary for crafting effective automation scripts.
  • Experience with Reverse-Engineering Front-End Applications: Valuable for understanding and interacting with complex web interfaces.
  • Great Understanding of Authentication Protocols, Sessions, Cookies, etc.: Crucial for handling authentication and user interactions.

Would Be a Plus:

  • Experience with AWS Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Serverless, Amplify:
  • Indicates familiarity with additional technologies relevant to automation and system integration.
  • Experience Building Chrome Extensions: Reflects advanced skills in browser interaction and customization.
  • Automation Addict: Demonstrates a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
